Calling All Community Organizers
Today, we here at FreeBike want to reach out to all the community organizers who create positive changes that benefit so many. Maybe you're at a non-profit, maybe you're simply doing work as an active citizen. If you read the Margaret Mead quote "Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world; indeed, it's the only thing that ever has", and it rings true, you're a community organizer.
To all of you who either lead, or -- just as crucially -- support the work of community organizing, FreeBike first wants to say: thank you!
And, we want to say that FreeBike is built to work with you to make change in your community. FreeBike is dedicated to getting wheels to the people who need them most. In our conversations with people working on everything from racial justice, to economic opportunity, to housing access, to environmental justice, and across an extraordinary spectrum of human rights and environmental issues, we've had that moment where everyone says "Yes!"
FreeBike is built to work with you to make change in your community. Practically speaking, what that means is that we are unique in the micromobility world: we are not aiming to make a billion dollars for investors; we don't have a lot of expenses that force us to hunt the fastest, biggest opportunities; we don't need to put our brand on anything. Rather, we seek out those places where we can work with people who have the patience that change requires. We seek out those places where we can work to get mobility to people who need it most. We strive to be as flexible as possible, so that the solutions we are part of are driven by the needs of the people and communities who choose to work with us.
If your community could benefit from affordable, flexible, reliable, environmentally sustainable transportation, and needs a partner that is as committed and patient as you are, then get in touch.
